Dee Pearce is organizing the meal for 35 women and could use help in delivering and serving. Everyone is welcome to participate anytime during the day. Lunch is delivered around 11:00 am. Walls will actually go up around 9:00am, hopefully.
Very Successful Coat Drive this year. We gathered over 30 coats from our employees and Pam matched the donations with an equal number of childrens' coats.

Pam and Walt, owners of Live Oak Real Estate

A private party thrown by Joan Lopez of Live Oak Real Estate to collect some stuffed animals. Stuffed animals??? Yes, the officers to put them in their
trunks to give to children in crisis when they go to abuse cases or car
accidents, etc. Pam Wooddell and Dee Pearce also from Live Oak in attendance.

"On behalf of the Wilmington Police Department, please let me thank you for
your generous donation of the stuffed animals and dolls. It is sad
situations in which we use these items, i.e. to comfort a child who
usually has been traumatized through no fault of their own, and your gift
will help officers to provide some comfort these children. Again, thank
you and rest assured they will be put to good use. Happy Holidays to you
and yours!
Lt. Obbie. M. Blanton

The Good Friends event is a charity that works with Social Services and
gives a helping hand to families in need in the area. There were 630
