I grew up in the small town of Wilson NC. I've been in the business for 2 years and some change and I take pride in finding people their dream homes. I have integrity and I'm very reliable. When I'm not working I enjoy wakeboarding and spending time with my son & family.

Originally from Texas, I have resided in the mountains of Colorado the majority of my adult life. Several years ago, my daughter met and married a Wilmington local and I couldn't move here fast enough. Welcoming my granddaughter, Miss Holladay Stovall in 2008, I have planted my roots. Wilmington is a vibrant area and a fantastic place I can continue to fish, golf, kayak and boat...paradise!
As a Graduate of the Realtor Institute, I am committed to providing every buyer the benefit of my knowledge in choosing, negotiating and closing on their property. Originally from Canada, I grew up and participated in my family's hotel/resort business for many years. Raised with an entrepreneurial spirit and a degree in economics I have owned my own business as well as worked for companies both large and small. I have experienced in finance, sales and customer service and have learned the importance and value of staying motivated, being organized and delivering on promises made. A career in real estate seemed a logical transition, utilizing all these skills as well as providing an opportunity to build relationships for life. My goal as a realtor is to bring integrity and professional standards to all dealings with clients and colleagues alike.

In 1988 our family saw our oldest son off to join the Navy and shipped off to the Middle East. The opportunity for a new position in Raleigh became available to my husband and we decided to make the move and so off we went with our youngest son to live the big city... We lived there for 9 years while I worked with Wake County School System managing the nutrition department of an elemetary school. My husband's job then moved us to Wilmington 15 years ago. At that time I went to work for New Hanover County Schools in their Nutrition department. Upon retiring from Child Nutrition I decided I wanted to change careers and go into real estate. I have always enjoyed working with the public and what better choice than helping families find the perfect home. I am so fortunate to be living in an area that is more like being on vacation each day then just a place to work and live. I enjoy working with clients moving to our beautiful city and showing them all of the advantages of living here at the coast. While living in Wilmington I have seen it grow from a sleepy port city to a bustling city of visitors and new business. I take great pride in making the purchase of your new home as stress free as possible. Born in Atlanta, GA and raised wherever the Federal Government sent my mother: Georgia,Texas,Virginia,Washington D.C. I know all about moving.
I came to the Wilmington area with friends for the Azalea Festival in the spring of 1982. In 3 days I knew I would eventually live at Carolina Beach. I bought my 1st home at Carolina Beach in 1986 when I was 24 years old, and it was my 34th residence.
I got my license in 1991 and real estate has been my full time career from that day forward. I knew that someday everyone else would find this wonderful region of southeastern North Carolina, called "Cape Fear ". Boy, was I right ! The Greater Wilmington/Beaches area has really grown in the 27 years since I first came here. I have traveled all over the country,but nowhere else enjoys the rich and diverse lifestyle this area has to offer. The beautiful beaches, ocean, waterways, the Cape Fear River, and the Historic District make this a place to live that is truly unique.

Live Oak Real Estate's original YANKEE! My husband and I moved down from rural Flemington, NJ almost twelve years ago. We thought we came for the beautiful beaches and weather, but were blessed with so many warm and dear friends ... from work, church and neighbors. We now reside in Leland, NC, just over the Cape Fear River from Wilmington.

My education background started with a college degree in elementary education and now concentrates on the many facets of real estate. I've
